Let's build safe, secure homes for impoverished Guatemalan families

Imagine giving a gift that will impact a family in desperate need for years, restoring their dignity and putting them on better footing to face life’s challenges.

Blessing them with the construction of a simple but sturdy house achieves exactly that!

Safe shelter is needed right now in rural Guatemala, where subsistence farmers and their families huddle in rickety shelters composed of any scraps they can find. When storms come, rain pours through their rusty roofs and turns their lives into a muddy misery. It’s bad enough for the parents, but it’s the children who are most vulnerable to a wet, cold environment.

Help us reach our goal of blessing 240 vulnerable children and their families with durable concrete houses!

These new homes, built by our local partner, Hope of Life, will give them a safe place to lay their heads, protected from storms and animals, and will be a daily reminder of God’s love.

EACH HOUSE WILL INCLUDE:

  • A concrete foundation
  • A waterproof roof
  • Two bedrooms
  • One living room
  • A lockable door and windows
  • A toilet and washbasin (when possible)

Let’s show these suffering families that our God  is the hope and refuge of the vulnerable!

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”.  Isaiah 41:10

A gift to Cross International will do so much more than just provide a sturdy new home for a struggling family.   It will leave a lasting legacy that will literally change lives and hearts for eternity.

Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for this project incurred through June 30, 2019, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
