Joy to the World
“Then the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.’” -Luke 2:10

Amidst the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping and holiday parties, the advent season is a special time to quietly reflect on Christ and all he brought into the world. As Christians, we are called to love and serve in the same manner that he loved and served—which involved bringing peace, comfort and physical provision to the poorest of the poor.

So as we enjoy family, friends and festivities this Christmas season, may we also remember those around the world who are hungry, alone and in desperate need of material care and the life-transforming love of Jesus Christ.
