Fund a Village WASH Committee

Area of Impact: Clean Water | Zambia | Kachere Water for Life
Amount Needed: $23,641

Only 19 percent of rural Zambians have access to sanitation services. And only 5 percent have simple hygiene solutions available, like water and soap for handwashing. Many villagers lack information about how to keep water safe and prevent the spread of disease—keeping them trapped in cycles of disease and poverty. In addition to its well-building and latrine construction projects, Kachere Water for Life is training four V-WASH (Village Water Sanitation and Hygiene) Committees to educate their communities on healthy practices. In response to a villager request, the committees will also share Bibles and Bible studies alongside clean water training.

Our Promise to You:
Your gift will go to our Thriving Kids Africa campaign fund, which will then disperse funds to the comprehensive projects the campaign supports. Proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover any expenditures for these projects incurred through June 30, 2020, the close of our ministry’s fiscal year. In the event that more funds are raised than needed to fully fund the project, the excess funds, if any, will be used to meet the most urgent needs of the ministry.
