Thank you, Cross International supporters! Because of you, poor students in Peru now have hope for the future!

I hope all of you enjoyed a blessed Thanksgiving holiday. Keeping with the spirit of gratitude, I would like to share a heartwarming letter of thanks from our partner Elohim Evangelical School. Please be blessed as you read about how your help through Cross is providing a life-saving education to children from the dusty slums surrounding Arequipa, Peru:

Hello dear friends,

This has been a very significant year for Elohim School. Enrollment jumped from 130 students to 160. While it is wonderful to be reaching out to more children in extreme poverty, it has put increased pressure on our existing resources. Nonetheless, with your help, we are rising to meet the challenge.

Through all the difficulties, the teachers have unflinchingly given their all and the children continue to enjoy their education, their daily snack and lunch, and the refuge Elohim School provides from their difficult daily lives.

Your continuing loyal support has played a vital role in feeding the children, paying the teachers’ salaries, and purchasing educational equipment.

We thank you and your supporters most sincerely for your willingness to share your resources for the benefit of the marginalized children of Arequipa.

Very best wishes to you all and may God bless you,
The staff of Elohim Evangelical School
